So me and FH are not really into the party scene. I take that back lol we do drink and have fun, but we don't go without each other. FH is feeling a lot of pressure by GM to do a bachelor party at a strip club. Which I trust FH in any situation, but he even said as a man when something is flaunted...

FH is feeling a lot of pressure by GM to do a bachelor party at a strip club. Which I trust FH in any situation, but he even said as a man when something is flaunted it's hard not to look and he would feel wrong about it. My girls wanted to go out and party, which again FH doesn't mind if I do, but it's not like I'm really single like the bridal party keeps pushing. It's my last night until married. I'm still in a committed relationship... It just feels wrong to me. We threw around the idea of doing a joint party, that way the bridal party gets to go out and have fun as a group and get to know each other, but also I can drink and let loose knowing FH is by my side. Thoughts???

My best friend and her husband did a joint party and they did a scavenger hunt bridesmaids against groomsmen. we are from the Boston area so we did it in the city and then went to dinner after. It was so much fun! I'm thinking of doing this also but having a scavenger hunt at a casino instead and staying the night.

We are doing a joint thing. We are going to Foxwoods casino, and we will be separate all day until night when we meet at the club! We are doing our own things during the day at the hotel & casino, having separate dinners and then meeting up to party as one big group! Love the idea!

We wont be partying together. We go out separately regularly. Guys and girls nights. I guess I'm looking at these parties to be relatively similar to a regular night out apart. I've personally only been to only bachelorette parties that were nothing too crazy. I've also picked up my FH from Bachelor parties that were also fairly tame.

I'm with Alicia on this one. FH and I both have committed yearly girls and guys trips, his to New Orleans and me to Vegas, among other random trips we take with our friends separately, and our nights out separately. This years' yearly trips will be for the bachelor(ette) parties. I'm doing Vegas in March and he's doing NOLA in April.

I don't have a preference either way I think there have been very valid points made for both sides of this argument, you do what you want, but please make sure it's for the right reasons, that each of you are making the choice on your own for yourself. Not making he choice for each other because you don't feel "comfortable".

I am trusting and I do have fun without him, but he also is a little jealous and although he wouldn't prevent me from going I just don't feel it's worth it. I'm a mom and i think that sets me apart from my other friends, they aren't parents so they still act wreck less. I just feel joint parties might be more respectable and a lot of fun! Bridal party is still bummed and I guess Best man argued with FH about it again
