Jersey Rustic Venues

Aniq, on April 20, 2019 at 7:54 PM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 15
Hello everyone, I'm looking to get married in March 2020, with possible outdoor ceremony and with a buffet reception. I want to create a rustic theme with laterns and flowers. Im finding that all the venues in Jersey all so expensive and my buget doesnt allow for their extra fees. Are there any venues you all have come across that might work? I only want 60-80p at wedding / reception and i don't want to pay more than $10000. Any help will be helpful, thanks and good luck to you all in figuring all your plans out.

Im in North Jersey in Union county, and i was trying to have guests come no further than 50mins out, but now Im thinking I will let them drive 1hr 15mins most, and just let them do the closest hotel if they want to. I dont even mind if I do a morning wedding at like 11am and would be done by 5pm. Rustic is in my heart. I found two places, one in Sparta and the other in Whitehouse, but they are too expensive with added fees for ceremony.

Have you tried your local boards? What about your local park and rec?

North Jersey bride with a rustic vibe here! Finding a decently priced venue was hard for sure lol; is 10k your whole budget or just for your venue? Looking up park permits is a good idea like Michelle said though

Never tried hamilton manor, so i will look that up too. I was trying to use 10k for venue and dj, my family is able to help out with other things but after finding venues that were beautiful just not in my price range, i started to get discouraged. But you ladies have been very helpful, and now i feel like maybe i can find a place that I would be happy in.

I looked at Hamilton Manor and asked about pricing, still not what I wanted to here so I might just find an event space.

Hey Aniq! Congrats on your engagement Smiley smile I'm getting married at the Bishop Farmstead in South Jersey and if you're on the hunt for rustic venues I would definitely recommend it! It's a historic barn/homestead that is currently being renovated (I'm getting married 9-6-19 and they're doing some AMAZING things to the property before then). They also work with an amazing caterer, Jeffrey A Miller, and it's all fresh, farm to table style food that you can even customize to fit your budget, style, and overall theme. They've been AWESOME to work with so far and I highly recommend them. Not sure about the driving distance but this venue has it all and is definitely worth a look!

    Hey Aniq,

I highly recommend and agree in reaching out to Waterloo Village in Stanhope, NJ. I will be getting married there this September and they have been nothing but short of amazing. The venue itself is gorgeous, rustic and romantic and there is so much included in the price (catering by master chefs, wedding planner, outdoor and indoor decor, table settings, centerpieces, bridal cottage, etc.). They are able to accommodate for both large and smaller weddings and are reasonable priced what they offer. The staff is extremely nice and they actually have a few open houses coming up where you can go and check out the locations, taste their food and ask as many questions as you want.

Thanks Virginia and Ashley for the advice, but the lady at the Waterloo said $15000 minimum, which is the opposite way Im trying to go. But everyone please keep giving me ideas, its very helpful.
