I personally wouldn’t do this because I feel like it takes away from the brides dress. Also because I went to a wedding and two other parts of the party wore white and someone people didn’t realize it wasn’t the bride and stood up during the ceremony. Whoops!

If I was wearing a colored dress like a dusty rose, then I would would consider it.

I'm doing this! Except the bridesmaid dresses will be short so I think there will be enough between them and me Smiley smile

That's going to look gorgeous! I really like seeing bridesmaids in ivory! Will they all be in the same style or something different?

I think it's very pretty but I wouldn't want to do this. I want to be the center of attention.

I am personally not a fan of this look. I like it when the bride stands out. With this - I have to really look at the photo to figure out who the bride is. I think it makes her look less special.

    Nay.

    I'm going to pass.

While monotone can look gorgeous, it's tricky to pull of. I personally like playing with tones, colors, textures, and having them play off/conpliment one another.

I agree that it has to be done the right way! I love a good monotone look and adding texture in any color palette makes such a statement.

Never been a fan of this, can’t tell which one is the bride! Even if my color palette was white (or ivory) with greenery, I’d opt for a champagne or slight-colored BM dresses. Ok, maybeeee only the same color as my gown if they all wore the same style.

Something different! I'm letting them choose their own, just have to have lace, be above the knee, and not strapless (since my dress is strapless and I want us to look different in photos that don't go all the way to the ground). I will also have bright, colorful flowers that will pop against the ivory

I think it looks very beautiful and could work out. But I have already planned my wedding colors so this is not for me Smiley winking

I guess I don't understand the need to really stand out...everyone who will be there will know who I am, and I don't expect many people who don't know me to see my pictures either so I'm not sure when the issue of "not knowing which one is the bride" would come up

It’s okay I guess for those who want it, but I personally want to be the only one wearing any type of white in my party,

    I’m torn!

Haha I like the idea but I don’t know if I’m that bold to do that!

Originally j wanted a peach colored long dress and my bridesmaids to wear ivory short dresses.

But when I chose my venue and my theme, the peach dress just wouldn’t work.

I’m too self centered lol. I need to be center of attention. I’ll roll my eyes if any guests wear white as well.

I was recently at a family wedding where the bride pulled this off flawlessly with her BM's. It was very bohemian and her dress was absolutely stunning - nothing could have taken away from how beautiful she looked. Her BM's each wore a different flowy long ivory dress and each looked amazing as well.
