"I've been thinking of my wedding since I was a little girl"

One of my co-workers said this to me. Am I the only one that has not ever been like this?! I have never thought of my wedding day, especially when I was little. I don't know, maybe because I didn't grow up with my parents talking about it, or discussing marriage. There was no wedding fund, or talk...

One of my co-workers said this to me. Am I the only one that has not ever been like this?! I have never thought of my wedding day, especially when I was little. I don't know, maybe because I didn't grow up with my parents talking about it, or discussing marriage. There was no wedding fund, or talk of finding a husband. It was just about getting my education, and getting a job. I seriously never thought about a wedding until I met FH. Probably because I never saw it happening before him; I was just working, dating bums, and living my life. Did a lot of you think about your wedding since you were little?

    I remember thinking of my wedding NIGHT as a little girl and being terrified to have to have sex! LOL

    I was told I'd be lucky to see 18 with the way I wasn't taking care of my diabetes. I didn't think about anything past my teen years. Instead I ended up in kidney failure, on dialysis, and getting a double organ transplant! I'm also legally blind in one eye. It's like circus mirrors in there haha! Then I had to make up for all that time partying lol. I had quite a few years of partying it up though!

    I have thought about being married off & on, but not my wedding day. FH & I have been together for almost 14yrs, when I went dress shopping everyone was surprised when at first I had no idea what I wanted.

    I only got wedding day obsessed once we actually started planning.
