Would you mind if a guest attended your wedding in a white dress? Why or why not?

I would definitely give them the side eye, but at the end of the day, no one is going to confuse them for the bride and most people are going to probably judge them.

Unless they showed up in a long white dress I probably wouldn’t stress about it. It should be obvious who the bride is.

If anyone wears white when they weren’t specifically told to, they’re definitely going to be judged. It’s rude and disrespectful. Sure, no one will mistake them for the bride, but that’s not the point. It’s an attempt to draw attention to yourself.

It’s definitely a faux pas and everyone knows you aren’t supposed to do it. It’s rude. That being said, people who do are obviously attention seeking and being classless for some unknown reason (JEALOUSY typically). You’ll look like an idiot because everyone with a brain will be whispering about you behind your back.

Well, I’m wearing Ivory👰👗with 💜on it, so it’ll be difficult to mistake someone else for me.

However, I attended a Wedding where a lady had on a White Jumpsuit and looked. like she was 5-7 months🤰, so I was 😒 at her.

I'd try to let it go. It's a poor reflection on the guest, not me!

I wouldn't have cared at all. What someone else wears has no effect on the wedding.

I've been to weddings where women were in all white. I'd be peeved for sure. I think some people in certain cultures don't realize that though.

I wouldn't even notice. They are grown-ups and can decide what to wear. As long as they are clothed, it's not disrespectful or rude. No one will think she's the bride....

I think it's extraordinarily rude... unless everyone knows the bride ISN'T wearing white.

Unless it's a huge wedding, no one is likely to confuse the bride with the guest, but, still, it's a very simple, basic don't.

Does that include if a guest wore a wedding dress?

That's a really good point. Not to mention all brides don't wear white and you usually won't know that until the day of.

I also don't think it's rude or disrespectful. I just think it's attention seeking.
