iso Monique Lhuillier Luna Wedding Dress

Crystal, on March 9, 2022 at 6:53 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 1 5

Hi all!! ISO a used Monique Lhuillier Luna (SP '19 Collection) wedding dress. In an effort to be earth & budget conscious, my fiancé and I are attempting to source all wedding related items secondhand. This includes attire! I've come to absolutely LOVE the Luna dress and am hoping to put feelers into the bridal 'verse in the event that anyone knows of a vendor or former bride that would be looking to sellSmiley smile Thank you in advance!! Warmly, Crystal

Take a look at preownedweddingdresses.com and stillwhite.com. Poshmark may have something too.

Thank you Michelle! I did check out those sites but they currently don't have the Luna listed. Will definitely keep checking back though!

This dress on stillwhite is similar: https://www.stillwhite.com/245480-monique-lhuillier

I'd also recommend keeping an eye on OnceWed and NearlyNewlywed in addition to StillWhite and PreownedWeddingDresses; neither are currently stocking the Luna, but it could pop up. I'd highly recommend looking into consignment wedding gown stores- they're more common than you may expect, and many also donate some of their proceeds to charity. If you're looking for a specific dress, some stores will even keep your name on a list to call you if they get one in. Otherwise, I would look into the potential option of buying a sample from a boutique; I'm not sure if the dress is discontinued, but it would work in your favor if it has been. I worked in bridal for 3.5 years, and discontinued styles are often sold at a nice discount. If it hasn't been discontinued, most boutiques are going to be very reluctant to part with their sample- after all, it's much harder to sell a dress they don't have available for brides to try on. One thing to keep in mind when buying preowned- you will need to know what size or range of sizes you are looking for. Most gowns can be taken in about 2 dress sizes, but bridal size charts are very different from regular clothing size charts. Length is also critical. The majority of dresses are scaled for the height 5'10"- so if the dress has been hemmed, that's important to be aware of.
