Mine's new! We designed it together. Hubby didn't want to risk getting me something that I wouldn't like (which I have yet to dislike any piece of jewelry he's gotten me), so he asked me to help him. What I got is so close to what he had originally planned that I was almost pointless for me to be there, lol. But I do love what we came up with. The diamond in the middle is because we both wanted me to have a diamond, and the emeralds are because, together with the gold band, they make the green and gold that are my college's (Baylor University) colors. That was also hubby's idea. Lol

Mine is a family heirloom. My FH mom gifted him the diamond from her setting that was originally her grandmas. We also took my moms diamonds from the ring she wore until the day she passed away in a three stone ring. I absolutely LOVE it, but I am so scared to wear it so I do have a back up when I’m too afraid to wear it out in public places.
