Is Wedding and Bridal Shower Registry the same?

I thought it was the same, I've always known people to get lingerie at lingerie parties or bachelorette parties. So I wouldn't worry about making another registry

I have always assumed bridal shower gifts come from the wedding registry unless it's specifically a 'lingerie shower'.

It's the same. A bridal shower and wedding shower is the same, in my area. Lingerie showers are different and called lingerie showers.

Typically it's one and the same. In fact most often people give physical gifts at the shower and cash at the wedding, though that can vary. If you are having a theme shower like for lingerie usually I've just seen people hand out cards with the brides sizes. I've never seen a bride register for specific pieces of lingerie.

They're the same. I could be wrong, but I don't think you register for lingerie, etc. when someone throws a specialty shower for you.

Ok Thanks! I'm having both brridal and bachelorette party. So I guess I'll get lingerie at the bachelorette party and gifts at the bridal shower.

I believe they're the same. Everykne bought off our registry for my shower.

I wouldn't go into your bachelorette thinking you'll be getting gifts. It varies from place to place and can even be different in different groups but it's very far from certain that a bachelorette involves gifts. Unless I was told otherwise I would never bring a gift to a bachelorette. Around here sometimes people choose to have a bachelorette that is a lingerie shower as well but then they typically don't have a regular shower. Frankly if someone expected a gift at both I would find that pretty greedy and would be put off by it.
