Is This Dress Too Sexy for Wedding Rehearsal/Dinner?

Mrs., on January 25, 2012 at 2:41 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 18

I love one-shoulders and have been looking for a dress that is an appropriate length for the WR/Dinner. I am petitie and will be wearing the dress with shoes that are one of my wedding colors (same color as models shoes).

REHEARSAL is at a HOTEL and dinner at a nice bistro.

Depends on how it fits you, and your rehearsal/dinner locations. It's pretty slinky. I wouldn't wear it in a church but that's just me.

Length wise, I'd say it's ok. In my personal opinion, it's a little too fitted for something like a rehearsal and RD.

I think its fine but you know your family and friends better then I do this that something that you would wear to a normal family and friend’s dinner?

Depends on if you're able to pull the dress off. I'd try it on before ordering it. If you are doing the dress dance all night then I say pass on this one.

It's super cute and I would totally rock the shyt out at the club. Unsure about around my family and close friends.

If you have to ask, it is.

It's cute though! Maybe for the honeymoon?

Not sure what your budget is for a gown but I found this one in white at Nordstrom for $49.

I agree that it's going to depend on how it fits you. If it is more that 2 inches above the knee, then I would reconsider wearing it. Also, it is hard to tell what kind of fabric, is it stretchy, silky? You don't want it to be too tight. If it fits well, you could maybe just dress it up a little more. Could you maybe get a wide belt to match your shoes? I think that would make it 'pop' more while also helping to keep it slightly modest.

Sounds funny, but I think the one long sleeve makes it more sexy than if it was just sleeveless one sleeve. I think its cute, but I don't know if I'd be 100% comfortable in it unless I was at a nightclub or something. I like the ones that Mekmek posted!
