Is this dress appropriate for a wedding guest?

It's the white flowers that I'm worried about. I'm thinking of contacting the bride about it but I also don't want to bother her with things like this especially as we are approaching the wedding day. Everyone I have asked says it is okay but I want to get more opinions on it.

That dress would be excellent. The concern about wearing white arises when it looks like you are the bride. So, white flowers are not a problem.

The rule is no all white dresses or dresses that are bridal in appearance. I think you’re quite safe.

It’s perfect for a guest dress.

The whole “no white is allowed” is blown out of proportion so people feel like they will have red wine thrown on them if they wear even a sliver of a white background or pattern. Yet men are expected to solid white shirts with no such backlash. As long as you don’t wear an actual wedding dress as a guest, no one has any right to say anything and if they do feel it’s inappropriate to wear a white pattern/background, whether that is a background the size of a pinhead or flowers on the dress above, then the other guests need to reevaluate their own self esteem and security issues. It’s not as deep as they want you to think.
