Is the Gloria in wedding without Mass?

Finally mrs.jkr, on June 20, 2015 at 12:14 AM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 4

I'm probably going to bump this a million times until I get an answer, but our priest hasn't done a wedding in forever and can't remember. He researched and said that it is, but I still don't know where in the ceremony it goes. Does it get sung? If yes, when?

Yes, right after "Act of penitence" I hope that helps.

You just made me think about our Day and how our Priest would not let us have all we wanted. He skipped all of the good stuff.. "Gloria" include (i'm still upset) Smiley sad ...such a jackass.

I don't think it does, actually.

Joy, did you have Mass or just the marriage rite? I don't think I saw your BAM!
