Is oxblood/dark wine not acceptable for a summer wedding

Destination Harrington, on September 6, 2017 at 2:39 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 38

Our summer wedding is in Costa Rica during their rainy season. I've been strongly told that this is a fall/winter color. Our flowers are white and green with orchids that have the deep burgundy/wine centers. Am I crazy thinking this color would be beautiful on my two bridesmaids and would tie in with the flowers.

You do you! I hate it when people try to confine certain colors to certain seasons.

Do what you want. I'm doing light pink for my wedding only because I hate fall colors and I refused to have my wedding during spring/summer do to the heat.

Do whatever colors you want! Personally I love this color, regardless if it's winter, spring, summer or fall!

I say go for it. I'm doing a dark plum color in the spring so I'm in the same boat.

If you like it, it's acceptable. Season's shouldn't dictate your colors. This happens to be a very beautiful color.
