Is my dress too sexy?

It's not the cleavage (that will be fixed in alterations) or my butt (I love my ASSets). It's more about the sheerness of the side panels that's tripping me up. But I'll take your advice and speak to alterations, maybe there is something she could do. And thank you for all of your kind comments, it's hard to discuss this stuff with friends & family sometimes because I don't want to hurt anyones feelings or burden them with my doubts (p.s. I am the most indecisive person ever so that doesn't help).

Wow, thank you everyone for your compliments and kindness. I know that ultimately I have to be the one who is comfortable in the dress, but your positive comments really helped after hearing some not so enthusiastic & judgmental ones made by people close to me. As someone who is quite sensitive to others' feelings, I think it was getting to my head. Glad I posted about this, because I was debating it for a month.

You look amazing, I think if I were wearing it, I would want the sides at the front less sheer, but the back is absolute perfection.

and I'm pretty conservative for modesty standards... so I think you're good to go.

I usually don't like gowns with the sheer bodice but your gown is INSANELY GORGEOUS! It looks amazing on you! It is sexy, but not overly sexy. It still manages to be classy and elegant.

Oh staaaahhppp. It's perfectly fine. I love the sexy elements of the low back and bust area. Some people might be used to a more covered up dress but times are a changing ! Embrace it. You look good !

ETA: my dress also has sheer side panels and front bodice. It goes pretty low on the sides, so much that my underwear was showing when I tried it on. So I think you're fine lol

Definitely try it with the veil first!! maybe you'll feel a little more covered for the ceremony, and then you can decide if you want to take it off for the reception. You, and are stunning!!!
