is it wrong to get married on 9/11?

In my culture, it is disrespectful to host a celebration on a date that someone you were close to passed away. But I know that's not really American culture, so if your family won't be offended, go for it.

I think that is a personal decision, I wouldn't want it on that date. But, it is your wedding and will be your anniversary..

I don't see anything wrong with you getting married on that day.

We've had weddings on 9/11 when it has fallen on a weekend. You wouldn't be the first. You won't be the last. Plus, it has personal significance for you.

I don't think its wrong at all, I think it would be great to have something positive to remember about that day

I see no reason why anyone would think getting married on 9-11 could be wrong.
