Is it rude to send a wedding date reminder to guests that have already rsvp?

ER, on May 26, 2009 at 12:53 PM Posted in Planning 0 3

My wedding is a morning wedding...afternoon reception. Although I know most of the people are going to be there, I also know some people might forget or might have changed their mind but have not advised me of it.

If is okay to send it...what wording can I use?

If they have already rsvp'd to a formal invitation, I would not send a reminder. You will have "no shows" & some that have conveniently "forgot" regardless of your reminders. IMO, its seems a little "pushy".

If they already RSVP I don't think you should send a reminder. However, if that relative/friend is forgetful they drop then an e-mail/text/call/in person and make sure to say hey! See you at the wedding this Saturday!

I think its pushy as well, plus, why do you want to spend even MORE on postage!!
