We're having a destination wedding in Jamaica, and then having a laid back reception at home. Our venue is pretty cool, it reminds me of a dance club which is great because I'm not really a traditional bride. I am paranoid of people not having a good time though, so I keep trying to think of cool ways to entertain guests. We're already having a photo booth, and dj, but I think a psychic would be pretty cool and unique way to bring a little entertainment. I brought it up to a friend at work, and she immediately said that I shouldn't and it's tacky. I'm just wondering what you wonderful brides are thinking. Thanks!

From reading the comments, and my own personal experience, people have mixed views of psychics. because some of them enter the spiritual world, it can be a touchy and intimate area and also uncomfortable. Also, some people dont believe in them and think they are foolish, for you it would be like going to a wedding with santa there asking people what they wanted (not being sarcastic/rude, just giving an example of how some ppl view it Smiley smile ) Also, its not exactly a form of entertainment, or something that creates memories with ppl like a dj or photobooth does. Its not very community-oriented either like those are. Its very individualistic and personal which weddings are not...they are about community, family, love, friendship. This is just an opinion, I hope it doesnt offend.
