Is 6 months enough time to plan?

I'm in Chicago and having a reception in the suburbs. The reception venue is available in 8/27/16 but I'm worried I won't have enough time to plan. Right now all I have is a dress. I'm not planning on doing too much DIY (maybe invitations). Will I be rushed and stressed out with that time frame?

I'm also in the Chicago suburbs, and had 6 months to plan a wedding - from proposal in February to the wedding in August. If you're organized, it's not as difficult as you think.

    We would be date twins!!

I say if you can find a caterer you like for that day and a venue you can make it happen Smiley smile

I mean you can, but why would you? Wedding planning is stressful enough as it is. If there's no reason to rush, don't! Save yourself the hassle and headaches.
