Invitations!!! specifically pocket or pocketfold

We'llAlwaysHaveParis, on January 28, 2013 at 1:15 PM Posted in Planning 0 13

How many inserts do you have and what are they?

Invitation (obviously)

RSVP (where does the envelope for this go - behind the RSVP card?

Accommodations (???)

Reception Info (????)

With the exception of the invite, do you have the inserts labeled somehow (with a header row or something) or is the text on each piece self-explanatory.

I'm thinking this style may be more complicated than it's worth.

If you want to post pix, I'd love to see them.

Reception card is only needed if ceremony and reception are at 2 different places.

The headings along the side are fun if you wish to know what each insert is just by looking.

    Invitation

    rsvp

    reception

    directions

    accommodations

    attractions (if destination wedding?)

    are the usual ones.

I only did RSVP & Accommodations (my ceremony and reception are at the same location). My RSVP card is technically a post card, so I didn't need an envelope.

    These are my invitations: http://www.exclusivelyweddings.com/Weddings/Wedding-Invitations/Wedding-Invitation/Pocket/Stylish-Duet-Wedding-Invitation

    I just ordered them today!

I like the postcard idea, Samantha.

That's for the picture Hayley. Those look great.

Lauren - check out cardsandpockets.com. User-friendly site and I think the prices are reasonable.

I don't have any pictures of mine yet, but I found a template on line and am making the pocket folds myself. The template I found is for a 12 x 12 piece of card stock, and I got the paper at JoAnn's for 20 cents each! Its going to be some work, but i've got lots of time so its worth it for me. I'll have the invite in the center, then "at the beach," "in the forest," and a map card in the pocket, along w/ an RSVP post card.

    We had the following:

    -Invitation (duh)

-RSVP card (it had the envelope behind it but with the flap over it, if that makes sense)

    -Accommodations card

    -Website card

    Some pics:

I'm doing pocketfold, from cardsandpockets. Best pocketfold around, best price and lots of color options. Considered making my own, but too much to do 160... I'm doing the invite in he center, an RSVP postcard and directions insert and reception insert. The directions insert will have the website on the bottom.

Hahaha this makes me laugh cause we had so many enclosure cards. I'm a nut.

    We had:

    Invite

    RSVP Card

    Wedding Weekend Information Card

    Transportation RSVP Card

    Welcome Reception RSVP Card

I bought my Wilton pocketfold invitation kits at JoAnn Fabric with a 40% off coupon... ended up being about $12 for a kit with 25 invitations. It had a sample invitation on the front with all the text already written on it (great cheat sheet!). Invitation was attached to the left side. The right side had the title showing "Reply" card (shortest paper), "Reception" card, and "Directions" card (tallest paper) tucked into the pocket. The titles were printed horizontal.

I too was wondering where the RSVP envelope goes. I think I will go with Leanna T.'s suggestion
