Invitations for our postponed wedding

Nakia, on March 23, 2020 at 2:02 PM Posted in Community Conversations 0 8

Hey girls,

We are postponing our April wedding to end of August. We originally sent out two separate invitations as only family and close were invited to the ceremony. If all details are the same other than the date, would you send out all new full invitations or could you get by with just a changed the date card directing people to the wedding website and letting them know times and locations are the same?

Thanks

Ohhh! I really like this idea! Instead of a whole new invite.

So we had to reschedule our April wedding to August as well! My mom suggested that we just send another invite out with the new date and info on it. Because to send “save the dates” and then invites AGAIN is a lot more money! We also kept our guests updated by texting just to let them know that a new date was in the works.

If i were you I would still include the information with all The details even though all of your details are the same it saves your guests from having to find wherever they put your original invitation to get the address & times. Thats just my take on it. Also it depends if your guests utilized ur website. Most of my guests did not. Im sending full invitations without rsvp cards. Pretty much The exact same details and times as the first one just a different date

We are moving our wedding from April to August. We’ll be sending all new invites bc we still need RSVP’s. Some people who couldn’t make the first date may now be able to make the 2nd date and vice versa.
