I agree with ncbride. No o'clock.

You also don't need 'and' in the year. So it would read 'two thousand eleven',

Yep leave out the o'clock that is for if event is happening right on the hour...say 3 o'clock-4 o'clock...and you can leave out the and in the year...

    Here's how ours is worded,

    Saturday the 28th of August

    Two thousand ten

    Three thirty in the afternoon

Actually your second one is the industry standard. It should read "half past three o'clock in the afternoon." That is how they are worded formally, following proper etiquette.

And the "and" stays in the year, or its just a number.

Oops, I checked and the "o'clock" can be omitted. Danielle and ncbride are correct. If you use three-thirty, it should be hyphenated. Every example I am looking at (Carlson Craft) has the "and" in the year. Hope this helps.

Thanks goskell, the "and" in the year was part of the Davids Bridal template, I was more confused about the time, as all the examples I've seen have been on the hour. I appreciate your knowledge.
