Inexpensive beach wedding ideas

I would say, Wrightsville beach is one of the best best beaches in NC. They also have a good number of restaurants and hotels on the strip closest to the water. Shell Island Resort is at the end of the beach so you’d have more privacy. They also have a restaurant so they could probably host your reception also. Wilmington is a “beach town” so there a lot of hotels, shopping and eateries in the area.

The Outer Banks (OBX) and Southern Outer Banks (SOBX) will be a better option for a wedding because they are less "touristy". This will cut down on the amount of passer-by's stopping to watch your wedding. My family has a beach house at Emerald Isle and a few of my family members have been married down there. There are hotel options, as well as large houses for rent for your out of town guests.
