I feel like my FH and I are the only couple that I know who are paying for everything entirely on our own.
Any other couples out there doing it?!

    I dont think parents should be expected to pay for their children's wedding no matter how loaded they are, regardless if they are the bride ir groom's fanily.

    We are but we are old. However, lots of my friends have been married 20-30 years and most of them paid for their own weddings.

    We are also paying for it ourselves. It's actually been easier to plan since we get to prioritize expenses based on what the two of us want most and avoid family drama.

    We’re paying for everything ourselves, including the honeymoon. His parents are hosting the rehearsal dinner though which we expect around 30 people. Our wedding & honeymoon is around $20K with is around the budget we set for ourselves.
