Whats included in their fees- take down? chairs? silverware? What is their service charge? Do they have specific vendors you must use or certain things they cannot accommodate?

Event spaces and max capacity for them for ceremony & reception

Day of coordinator! We're finding this being included with the venue is invaluable. Also times you can get in to set up and when you need to leave.

Do they hold multiple events on the same day or just one?

Is there a minimum/maximum guest count?

How long do you have the venue for?

Are there any additional fees/options to have the venue longer?

Is there parking on site? If so, is it free or do people have to pay? Valet?

How much is the rate for the venue and what is included?

What are the deposit requirements and cancellation policy?

Do they offer a payment plan?

Are the gratuity fees for staff included?

    Do you need wedding insurance?

Is there a plan for inclement weather?

Who is responsible for setup/tear down?

Is there time allocated for setup/clean up?

If they offer these services, is there an extra fee involved?

Are there areas for the bridal party (bride/groom) to get ready in? If so, what are the hours these are available?

Where/how many bathrooms are available for bridal party and guests?

Are you required to use their inhouse or preferred vendors?

Can you bring in a cake from an outside vendor?

Is there a cake cutting fee?

When are vendors allowed to arrive for setup?

Are there any limitations on decor?

Does the venue provide any decorations?

If so, can decorations be moved around?

Does the venue provide catering/bar services?

If so, what is the cost per person of these services?

    Are there any noise restrictions?

Make sure to ask about a service charge and whether or not that includes tip (if your venue is also doing your catering). Many places will charge like 20% service fee and that does NOT count tip for servers. A lot of places will try to hide that fee until it’s too late lol. It’s not a huge deal but you should just make sure you know from the very beginning so you know to add an extra 20% to everything
