I’m so self conscious!

So I’m super self conscious about my tummy in my dress. No workouts/diets seem to be doing anything because I bloat really badly. In this picture is a little worse than normal because I had just ate a ton but I can’t wear spanx because my dress is backless, low and see through on the sides and back....

In this picture is a little worse than normal because I had just ate a ton but I can’t wear spanx because my dress is backless, low and see through on the sides and back. I’ve even considered taping my tummy down or just keeping my bouquet and hands in front the entire day. Any advice? cfb_1403415.jpg

I think you are beautiful and have a beautiful dress Smiley heart I am a life and weight coach, have you tried a no flour no sugar high-fat meal plan for the bloating? That always has been a good foundational start for the girls I work with.

    Hi Anna,
It was not my intention to offend anyone. You seem triggered by my comment. Regardless of whether a woman has a belly or not, EVERYONE benefits from exercising daily and eating healthy, whole/nonprocessed foods. I hope you can at least agree to that.

Before I lost 8lbs, my FH made me feel just as attractive. I wouldn't marry him if he did not. I do, however appreciate how he notices my weight loss and praises me for exercising daily and adopting healthier eating habbits. Diets generally don't work because they are temporary. I recommend all of us to adopt a healther lifestyle in general rather than do something temporary just to "look good" for our weddings/wedding gowns.

I can’t because the back is so see through and I’m so pale! I had Shapewear and you could still see it. As a last resort I might get sheer shapewear but it doesn’t do much

CANT help but notice, youre not carrying much extra weight, you have a petite body type, and your date is far away. Consider a little dieting, cardio, and ab workouts if you feel badly. Youre not fat, only a little soft. Im sure youd feel good just toning up slightly. Its about how you feel not how u look.

IBS is a game changer in terms of what advice to give you. I have severe IBS and understand what you're going through. Do not listen to the people who are advising you to eat salad--this, along with cruciferous veggies, is often one of the most common trigger foods for people with IBS. What you need to do is to go see your GI and come up with a plan. Probably the low fodmap diet to see which foods are triggers. Luckily, you have plenty of time before your wedding to figure it out. For me, I had to cut out all most fruits and all vegetables for a full month before my wedding, but it worked. Normal diets do not work with people with IBS--it's not about eating healthier, it's about eating what your body can tolerate. For people with IBS, what your body cannot tolerate are unfortunately some of the healthiest foods. For me, I could eat half a serving of salad and I will look pregnant, but I could eat an enormous bowl of pasta and my stomach will be flat. My advice as a fellow IBS sufferer is to see your GI and try low fodmap. I think you still look great though!

I see what you mean...Have you taken your dress to or talked to a seamstress to see if there are any customizations/alterations that can be made? Maybe a panel to add to the sheer back so the shapewear isn’t as noticeable?

Also IDK if you would be interested in a detachable train but that may accentuate your dress and take away from your core section:

I get that! It takes time to figure out which ones work for you and how to incorporate them into your meals, but worth the time to do it. I have found that if you don't, being able to sustain keto is almost impossible because the fats are what keep you feeling satiated and keep the cravings down.

    1. You look absolutely beautiful. And don’t let anyone tell you any different!
    2. I have been doing hot yoga everyday since April 27th as well as changing all my eating habits- not like I ate bad before, but you know what I mean, and I have dropped a significant amount a weight. Am I anywhere where I want to be? No. But am I proud of myself, yes!
    3. There’s also, on ItWorks, pills, they work wonders! My fiancé is taking them, as well as me, but he is not exercising and lost about 18 pounds so far! If you want more information I’d be glad to help you! It is completely safe and it is tea tree extract- all natural!

You look beautiful! I totally understand where you're coming from, but just thought I'd throw some support your way. Smiley smile The suggestions here are all great, too.
