I'm scared of having to pee to much during our wedding day...

My dress is fit n flare as I mentioned before. It has a pretty full skirt, which of course will only make it that much harder to pee. I know I will need help. My dress is fit n flare as I mentioned before. It has a pretty full skirt, which of course will only make it that much harder to pee. I know I will need help. I am a social drinker, so of course I plan on drinking mainly at the reception. I just don't want to waist too much in the bathroom. Whenever I drink and I "break the seal" I feel like I am running to the restroom every 20 min, which is okay because normally I am not in a wedding gown! For all the married ladies.. did you really have that much trouble going to the restroom and did it take like 10 min.? I know this is a weird question, but I have a feeling I'm going to keep having disappear every half hour for like 10 mins?! Am I over thinking this?

P.s. Sorry if TMI- just curious.

OMG I thought I was the only one freaking out about this. I seriously pee every 45 minutes and I was told to pee facing the potty like a bidet when I am in my gown. I have a train on my dress a mile long and there is no way I can sit on the potty like a normal person in the gown.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who has this fear. I haven't even thought about what if I have to do the other thing!?

Oh, and no judgement about diapers... When I was pregnant I actually HAD to wear them for the last week because my baby was literally on my bladder and I couldn't hold it in at all. FH actually gave me the idea! (FH was the only one who knew this until now!) Lol. They are super comfy and thin! I was surprised. I think ill be fine without them for the wedding though. Even though my bladder is not what it use to be pre-baby. It still does the job. When I finally get my dress I'm gonna do practice pee breaks. I think I'll most likely end up facing the wall and if I need my girls to help hold the dress I wouldn't mind. I just hope it works out fine.

I think you will be fine, at least you're only concerned about #1. I'm concerned about #2 cause when i'm nervous I sometimes get the bg's (bubble guts)

I tend to have an overactive bladder. I discussed with my PCP how this affects me when I go to a concert or the movies and for my upcoming wedding and she gave me a whole box of samples of the medication in the photo below. It turns your urine blue!, but calms the spasms that cause the urge to go way too much-it's frequently used for UTIs. I have used it a couple of times and it worked great.

I think I went about 3 times. My girls helped me. I also started my lady time earlier that day. Fun times. It really isn't so bad as long as you trust your girls!

I got a zip backed dress for that reason - so I could not so gracefully step out of it to make peeing easier Smiley smile

This is a fear of mine as well, so never feel embarrassed for asking. I have a form fitting dress, and I also have bad anxiety that causes me to use the bathroom a lot when I’m anxious about something (drives my fiancé crazy, haha), and it’s been more frequent as I get older. Just praying that it will chill out that day, haha.
