Im more upset than FH about missing sister's wedding today! Long

Too make a long story short FH sister got married today in MI and we were not able to go because of some financial issues. Orginally she was suppose to get marry June of next year(I had posted about being torn between her wedding and a good friend of mine that was getting married the same day). Then his sister said they moved the wedding up to Nov18. A few days later I get a text stating that wedding was now Oct16 which was fine with me because FH bday was Oct15th and he could be back in MI with his family. We had just got FH car out the shop a week before and planned to drive it out of town but the next day his car wouldnt start. We had to put the car back in the shop and pay an extra 200 dollars to get it fixed when we had already payed 2200. I felt like we could have still gone because we would of had money for gas and food after the wedding because they were going out to dinner afterwards but FH said he doesnt like going out of town with just enough. Know that I would be upset and hurt if my sibling didnt attend. She had text me earlier in the week saying that she really wants her big brother there and I just feel bad that we missed her day. She is one of bm and I just hope that she doesnt feel like they didnt make mine so Im not going to make theirs. Thanks for letting me share. Only another bride could understand this lol!

If I were her I would be really hurt. I understand that things come up that we can't control but I feel like as a big sister, I could never miss the wedding of my siblings. I definitely get where you are coming from. As a bride it is really sad to imagine that people we love won't be there.
