Just Said Yes September 2019

I’m all over the place and need help!

The one decision I’ve made so far I regret. I put my bridesmaid in Navy blue when I really wanted a hunter or forest green. We’re getting married late September 2019. The dress have already arrived and although they’re beautiful I can’t stop thinking about dark green. The colors I have in mind are dark green, dark purple, gold, navy, burnt orange. Now what do I do? What do the guys where? What color tablecloth’s and napkins? What would the bouquets look like? I’m so lost and Pinterest isn’t making it any better

Did you get them from someplace like David's or Azazie where it might be possible to exchange them? Otherwise, I don't think there's much you can do unless you're willing to pay for replacement dresses. Daughter's BM's dresses were Azazie's dark green and they were gorgeous, but you can probably make your "vision" come to life with the navy dresses. Both navy and dark green dresses can serve as kind of a neutral backdrop to the purples, golds and oranges. Good luck!

Navy and dark green look really good together. I think navy tablecloths with dark green napkins would look pretty! You could also add some pretty dark green ribbon around the bouquets you and bridesmaids would carry. A lot of rest of the colors you named are jewel tones and could definitely be brought out more with decor. You could also ask your important moms/women to wear dark green. My colors are going to be burgundy and navy. I'm having burgundy tablecloths with navy napkins. My bridesmaids are wearing burgundy and I will be asking my mom, grandma, his grandma, aunt, and stepmom to wear navy.

You could put a lot of dark greenery in their bouquets and have the groomsmen wear navy suits with dark green vests or ties. I would just go with white table cloths so that you can accent them with other decorations easily. But don’t stress too much about colors! It’ll all look great once it’s together

Hey Kimberly! I'm sorry that you are feeling like this! There are plenty of ways to incorporate a forest green color without having to exchange your BM dresses! Have you thought about greenery for your bouquets? They look so beautiful and will add the green color you want without you feeling that you have to find a place to use it. I know you mentioned that Pinterest doesn't seem to be helping you but I've added in a few examples of the type of bouquet I am trying to describe.

Maybe think about plain white tablecloths and napkins so that you will be able to easily use your colors as centerpieces and accent colors. Have you given much thought to your centerpieces? They could match your bouquets or you could use flowers of your chosen colors. You can even ditch flowers altogether and use something like lanterns or candlesticks if you'd prefer!

    Hey Date twin!

Like others have said Navy and dark green do go really well so you can do green in their bouquets, white tablecloths with green napkins but then the navy in your centerpieces.

Or you could incorporate the green into décor around your venue.

The only way I would think getting new dresses to work is if you could exchange or if you're lucky enough for your bridesmaids to want to spend money on a whole new dress or you could afford to buy new dresses for everyone. Azazie has some great options for a great price and they only take 6-8 weeks to come in! My girls ordered their emerald green dresses from Azazie.
