i Know i probably should of asked this when i said yes to the dress. but i loved it.
the top is a little too bug and would need to be taken in, 1. do you think its too reveiling ?
2. do you think they are able to add the appliqué to cover my bust a little more?

A good wedding seamstress, or alterationist, can easily match your appliqués. As to being too revealing, that is truly your personal perspective. Do you feel uncomfortable in your gown? Do you think when you look at your wedding pics in 20 years and you have children, you'd wish you'd been a bit more covered? Just some things to consider. Your gown is beautiful no matter what you decide. Congratulations!!

I don't think it's too revealing at all, maybe if you're getting married in a church it would be but anywhere else no!

Thank you! my mom had made a comment about it being too revealing, so it made me
start 🤔 💭 i hope not i dont want to be viewed as “that bride” & no church wedding.

I don’t think it’s too revealing, my dress is cut similar with a deep v and I just had the seamstress add some illusion mesh to it. It definitely doesn’t cover me any more since I chose nude, but it makes me feel more secure that nothing will slip out lol. I have tape to use too for the day of. Maybe look into something like that, a seamstress should be able to help for sure!

Some people would never show that much skin to anyone who isn't their significant other...and if you are marrying in a church with modest guests, it may not go over well. While others would have no issue. It really depends on your guests' perception.

A good seamstress can do anything and adding a modesty panel to the front is a piece of cake for them. You can locate them on Thumbtack.com for interviews.

Yes, try not to let other people's comments, even your Mom's, make you doubt. It's really hard not to listen. I think you look gorgeous in your gown!! ❤

Any good seamstress will be able to add on the extra fabric to cover your bust if yu feel the need. I think yu look beautiful in the gown and you should go with what ever makes you feel the most beautiful to walk down the isle to your new husband. 🤗

I would add a 2” sheer panel at the bottom of the v. I think it would look a bit more elegant. The dress is gorgeous on you! A seamstress can pin it and you can look at it before committing to it. I am not a prude but just think a little more coverage would look best.

I think it’s gorgeous on you! It’s a beautiful dress! I agree with Kathy- have your seamstress pin a 1 or 2 inch panel & YOU decide if you think you should (don’t take your mom when you do). Personally, I think it’ll take away from your gown. I was concerned about the front of my dress too (his mom was with me as mine passed 3 years ago). She and my sister helped calm my fears. I dont think it's too revealing but it comes down to what you feel comfortable in. It's your day! Also a seamstress could definitely add more coverage. My best friend just got her dress at David's bridal and they offered that as an option for hers if she felt it needed more coverage. Good luck!!

I love this dress but didn’t end up buying it because it was too revealing and the seamstress said she could close the V at all. You look beautiful, it’s very classy boobage! It was too much for me. Illusion wedding alterations 5
