Hello! I am just now starting to work on my welcome sign and I am wanting to buy the Mala Easel from ikea. Can ANYONE please tell me how big the chalkboard area is?! I can find the dimensions for the whole thing but not the chalkboard part. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

It’s not very big. The easel itself is no more than 4 feet tall.

Cute! Have you tried reaching out to IKEA customer service directly? I've done that before when I needed to know the interior dimensions of a cabinet in a desk I ended up ordering. Or you could ask on Amazon? Do you live near an IKEA to be able to zip over and measure it? You know, I wonder if you called a store if they would even be able to measure it for you!
