Well FH and I became a couple on Dec 27th so I'd have to choose a Christmas wedding. Plus I love the magic in the air and how people are much nicer durning this season.

I would never get married on an actual holiday, BUT I would have loved to have a winter/Christmas wedding. That would've been fun. But not fun enough for me to actually do it. Haha A Halloween wedding could be super fun too.

We both LOVE Halloween, but didn't want to get married on Halloween itself, as we wanted to keep them separate. So we are getting married on October 13th!

We're getting married on Columbus day weekend, because it gives people a long weekend.

Honestly, I love holidays so much, we tried to find a time during the year that DIDN'T have something to celebrate, so we could have something to look forward to, and a reason to celebrate.

I would definitely do Halloween! Me and my FH are obsessed with all things Halloween-related, and enjoy throwing parties with elaborate themes and fun games! Plus, I would still get the fall wedding I desire.

I took the quiz and got St. Patty's, which is fun since my family is Irish. If I had to choose though, if this counts, I would choose Father's Day because its closest to my actually day. I can't not imagine getting married in June now!

We got married over Columbus Day Weekend, to get a 3 day weekend, with no holiday content. Just fall in New England.

We are getting married on labor day weekend August 31, 2019 and we chose it because it was 2 years from our engagement. We also liked that it gave our travelers from out of town extra time to travel with the long weekend.

Halloween. It's my favorite holiday. I would love the decor and would tell guests they could dress in costume. I think it would be so fun. Just thinking of it makes me wish I did Halloween as my date.

If I could pick any holiday it would be the Winter Solstice because it is the shortest darkest day of the year so a perfect excuse for a candlelit ceremony before normal dinner hours and from there the days only get longer and brighter. We could also throw in a lot of Christmasy stuff because it is so close. And we almost did just that but decided it was just a little too close to Christmas so we are getting married exactly a week before and keeping all the same elements I wanted - including candlelit ceremony, ornament escort "cards" that will be displayed on a lit Christmas tree, tartans and a Wassail toast to open the meal (that I will give probably from the balcony overlooking the reception space so everyone can easily see me).

The alternative would either be the Summer Solstice or Midsummer's Night with an inside out wedding - a nice dinner at dinner time with everyone (with a white tea party dress) then some entertainment for the guests while we change and then into the forest - lit with fairy lights and lanterns for a twilight ceremony. Then back to a nice open field or lake shore for hors d'oeuvre type snacks and wine and cake and desserts and dancing/frolicking under the moonlight (fairy wings will be available for people's enjoyment) and ending with a bonfire at midnight and more frolicking.

Halloween: I'm kind of doing it already I love orange and black. Our theme is Enchanted Pumpkin I'm not doing a full blown Halloween wedding but I am adding some Halloween touches like I'm giving all the tables halloween couples names ( Gomez and Martisha Adams) I'm using black caldron as punch bowls have a trick or treat candy bar and the rest is done with ivory, black and orange Pumpkins with lots of bling and gold.
