Hi,

My wedding was going to be on 7/4/2020, got moved to 4/9/2021, and again finally to 8/22/2021. We are going ahead with it this time no matter what. Since it's been so long, I wanted to do something with close family and bridesmaids to kind of kickstart everything again and bring it back on people's radars - something like a bridal shower but not as formal. Was wondering if anyone has done something similar or has ideas?

You could do a bridal luncheon! It is not a gift giving event, but rather just a way for you to celebrate with wedding party and close friends.

A bridal luncheon for your attendants sounds great. You can give their thank you gifts at that time. You can't host your own shower.
