Ideas for restaurant reception

Hi all!

Does anyone in the northwest Chicago or lake county area have ideas for nice restaurants to hold my reception at??
My fiancé and I are struggling to find the perfect place to hold our about 60 person reception. Any ideas would be welcome! We are currently thinking of The Vine in Grayslake but I'm starting to second guess because I think we'd feel too out of place there.

Have you looked into the Shanty off of 41 and Wadsworth Rd? Or Pinstripes in Northbrook I've never been but I remember looking into them a bit when I first started looking.

I've looked into Pinstripes, but I was afraid of feeling too out of place there. I've never hear of Shanty though. I'll look there next, thanks!

Have you browsed the WeddingWire venue directory as part of your search? It’s possible to filter by location and venue type which may help you find something suitable - Lincolnshire Restaurant Wedding Venues. That list has some in the area and surrounding areas. You can view the map to see where exactly they are. I hope this helps

Yes of course I have looked but I found places either out of budget or some other element that had to be counted out for. The ceremony will be at the Half Day forest preserve or Independence Grove
