Most of these were written by the artist for their young children:

Dixie Chicks - Lullaby -- may be a little long and sappy, but very pretty

Rod Stewart - Forever Young-- more upbeat, but I still can never listen to this song without crying

Kelis - Song for the Baby-- super upbeat and good if you don't want to straight-up slow dance.

Otherwise, there have been a few brides to use Disney songs with their sons. If he has a favorite, you could use that, or these would make good ones:

You've Got a Friend in Me (Toy Story)

There is a song called Mama...

I think it's called simple man by lanyard skynard? And then someone did a good cover too.

@breecheez I am looking for a song for a dance with my sons. What would be a mother/son dance- taking the place of the father/daughter dance.
