My wedding is on April 30th, just about 30 days from now. I recently called the bridal store I purchased my gown from and asked why my gown hasn't arrived as it was supposed to have arrived the first week of March. The first couple times they said..well it should be any day now..finally yesterday I called, the manager looked up the status and said "umm ohhh it looks like its shipping really close to your wedding date.." Turns out, its being shipped out in may. So my question is does any one know of a store that carries in stock wedding gowns? I dont know whats going to happen with the one i ordered!

As much as I would like to go apeshit, you get more flies with honey, than with vinegar. When retailers like you, they work harder for you. Try tears!

I'd definitly see if they can place a rush on it or demand they give you back your money AND find you a new dress off the rack! I'd be so super pissed ... Did the store actually tell you, your dress will be here in March without placing a rush order? If they did that then they are in the wrong and best give you your money back.

I ordered my dress in January and I was told it wouldn't be here until July at the earliest, but no later than August 15 ...

When you had ordered your dress they should of told you from the beginning that either you order to late to get it on time or when you should had recieved it. I'm sure you told them the date of your wedding. They should of double checked they infor, they probably put the wrong date in & not telling you.... You should go talk to the manager face to face & figure out what happen & verfiy your infor. They should give you a refund, discount on a sample in the store or have that dress rush order. Any extra cost they should pay for...

Start calling every Bridal Shop in your area and explain your situation and what size you are and ask if you can come in to try on any of their samples in your size for purchase. The bigger the salon's stock, the higher the chance that you will find they have samples in your size and are willing to sell them to you. Every time you call a salon, MAKE SURE you ask to speak with the store manager before asking these questions. The sales personnel may make promises over the phone, but find that when you come in to your appointment... they can't keep those promises. So make sure you're asking the manager before you even set foot into the store.

    Good Luck!
