i need some advice

Karoline, on July 7, 2020 at 4:49 PM Posted in Planning 0 27

Girls, I need some advice.

Who bought the rings on Etsy?

I found one ring, but I have no such experience, what do you say?

Thanks!

I personally would not, especially since the seller page says they have 0 sales.

I agree with pp. i think going with sellers for this kind of thing makes more sense for if they have reviews already, especially with photos from actual customers and stuff

If you find a good seller you should be fine. I would not trust that specific seller though. You want someone with reviews and stars.

I bought a ring from Etsy to wear while my actual ring was being re-sized (they had to ship it to California and it took like 3 weeks, so I didn't want to be ringless in the meantime). It's nice, but I wouldn't really expect it to last very long. If you're wanting to opt for Moissanite instead of a diamond, I would highly suggest checking out East West Gem Co. My friend's ring is from there and it is SO stunning. If I wasn't already engaged before her, I might have wanted to get my ring from there!

I would not order from that specific seller, but there are some very good sellers on etsy. I ordered my FH's ring from the etsy seller pillar styles and they were amazing, but they only due mens rings. Make sure you read reviews before buying!

I agree with the previous posters, looking at number of sales and reviews is important when buying online. Just make sure that you find a reputable shop. I bought my ring on Etsy from Yridesign and it’s perfect Smiley smile

I got my engagement ring from etsy and it cost us big bucks (cheaper than at home) because its 2.5+ carats so I was EXTREMELY apprehensive.

I did my research on the seller as best as I could outside of etsy, and also checked their previous sales. A big relief was that they had hundreds of reviews over the years that were all excellent so it really put my mind at ease.

With this said, I would exercise caution if it is a dear purchase (i.e. money you're afraid to lose, any significant sum that'll hurt!) since the seller doesn't have any sales or reviews... Hmm... proceed with caution here!

We bought my engagement ring of esty and I absolutely LOVE it. Its my birthstone and its just simple and beautiful. I had to get it sized down by a local jeweler but it still looks good as new. Plan on getting my wedding band off Etsy too.i need some advice 1

I can whole-heartedly recommend Derick Beem from HelloRing on Etsy. He made my engagement ring - the blue, and will be making my wedding band as well. My original band was off scale (he gave me exactly what I asked for, my perception was off), but he took it back and is in the process of re-making it. Check out what he has. He is reasonably priced and talented.

My ring is from Etsy, but they were based in the US and had a LOT of reviews.

If you do buy from Etsy, go with an established shop.

I got my engagement ring and wedding band from etsy and they are both amazing. I agree that having no sales doesn't look great. I think etsy is a great option but maybe search for a ring similar through different shops that have reviews that you can look at.

I got my band on Etsy! The shop is Besbelle, and they are awesome! They are a reputable seller with lots of sales and good reviews. Definitely go with a seller with more sales. While supporting a new business is great, something as important as your wedding set is too important to leave to chance!
