i need ideas on a backdrop

Are you sure these are not something the venue has and would let you use or rent out? I would ask. Sometimes brides have no use for things like this after and leave them.

If not, maybe you have a crafty friend? The circle could be tricky by the other two are very pretty and could be done.

Hey Catherine, the venue says that everyone always choose their own. So I am going to do some looking around as to what I can rent or get made. I don't want to do the typical Arch ya know. Thanks for the feedback.

I personally am doing something like the second picture, just making curtains out of sheer fabric and using a stick to hang it. I think a lot of it goes to your aesthetic. Do you want whispy and sort of ethereal (white sheer fabric drape), natural wood (my venue has a wooden triangle we will use for the ceremony space), or even something bold (my backdrop will be navy blue sheer)? you have to get a theme or a general idea in mind. If you want boho, rustic, or naturey, you can do vines. I'll be adding wooden letters painted emerald green and hung with fishing wire to my backdrop to say Mr & Mrs (might also add Johnson but not sure yet). I thought about adding clear lights behind to look like stars or vines for a darker green before I settled on these. start with what you want on the tables and see what compliments it.
