First plus sized women are the BOMB HELLO fellow plus size lady here 🤗. I LOVE the dress on you a d I love mermaid style myself! I tried on 4 and loved them all and then went with something else that snatched me on up the same way this one is snatching you love!!!

I'm glad you are sharing. First I feel the same as you. I think self image is an issue for all women of all sizes. Most women have an issue with something about their looks. Second I think you look wonderful in that dress. I agree with some of the others that you can always wear shape wear to make you less self-conscience, but honestly from the picture it doesn't look like you need to. If you do there are tons of shape wear out there now that is comfortable. I'm wearing shape wear with my dress which I never thought I would but found it made the dress look better on me.

I get where you're coming from though. I felt the same way about my gown and I'm plus size. I'm glad I got it in the long run.

The dress is gorgeous... However to give an honest opinion, perhaps its not your dress. I had dress remorse also and ended up changing my dress but for the same mermaid/trumpet style. I however am curvy and mermaid dresses seems to flatter curvy women. Maybe if you try some shapewear it can help. Or try A-Line or a dropped waist. A dropped waist A-line can give that mermaid feel but conceal the midsection a little more if that is where you carry your weight.

It’s beautiful and fits your body well. When I went shopping, my idea was sleeves because I hate my arms, (I’m also plus) well the dress I found and chose is sleeveless but I felt beautiful in it. I look at my dress everyday and wonder if I should have gone with something else, but then I remember how the dress made me feel in the moment and I just go off that. Don’t nit pick because that will make you want to change your mind. No one is going to see the imperfections you see/feel. They are only going to see your smile 😍
