i need help yall

I think it’s a beautiful dress!! It’s simple and elegant! If I were you before feeling bad or changing your mind about the dress I would first use shapewear to feel better about having everything in place, spanks and a bra, and do not feel bad about needing that. Literally anyone in a dress like that would need shapewear!! And I think a belt would look really pretty? Like those rhinestone ones? It would look beautiful either way. The dress is gorgeous on you! Do not feel bad!!

Hi Amanda, similar thing happened to me where I saw styles online that I really thought I would like, but when I tried them on, it was not what I expected. The most important part is how you feel in it and if you’re not loving it, there’s another beautiful dress out there that is for you ❤️


For me, one of the smartest things I did was go by myself and scheduled an appointment with a bridal consultant. She chose a dress I never would’ve chosen for myself and I freaking loved it. She knocked it out of the park and was excellent at her job 👍

Your dress is gorgeous Amanda!! The buttons, low back, and simple elegance are just perfect on you. It could help to shorten the straps- that might give you some extra lift if that's what you're looking for. You truly look amazing and if you're still feeling insecure, hair, makeup, and accessories can go a long way for a boost of confidence. Since you are postpartum (congratulations!!!) there's a possibility the dress might fit you a little differently in a few months. I wouldn't put added pressure on yourself- you've got a little one and you need to give yourself grace and rest right now. Regardless of any changes that might transpire, perhaps seeking out someone who does alterations might be a good idea. They can get the dress fitting you exactly how you'd like it when it's a little closer to your wedding

I think the dress is lovely but by your stance and posture I can tell you're not in love with it. Feeling beautiful and confident is part your mindset but if you're really not loving it, I think it's ok to change.
Maybe try a jeweled belt to give it a little flair. If you can love something about it, then maybe you'll enjoy the gown more.
