I went wedding dress shopping for the first time today and actually had fun (I hate shopping in general). I found a dress I love, and I think it looks pretty good on, and will look even better if I can drop a few pounds as I plan to. Is it too young a dress for my age, though? I'm 42. Maybe cut off...

Holy cow. Lose a few pounds? Seriously? Look at your back! It's beautifully defined. Look at the front of the dress! It was made for you.

Too old for it? Hell, no. You look absolutely amazing. Perfection in white.

And leave that train alone. A bride needs a train, and that train belongs to you.

You look great in it and I don't think you are too old for it. A jumbo ball gown might be the only dress that I would say has an age restriction. This one does not though.

@Miami, lol... right, no ball gown for sure. As she was pulling dresses I kept saying, "no poofy, no bling."
