I love this dress, but am I too old for it?

I went wedding dress shopping for the first time today and actually had fun (I hate shopping in general). I found a dress I love, and I think it looks pretty good on, and will look even better if I can drop a few pounds as I plan to. Is it too young a dress for my age, though? I'm 42. Maybe cut off...

I went wedding dress shopping for the first time today and actually had fun (I hate shopping in general). I found a dress I love, and I think it looks pretty good on, and will look even better if I can drop a few pounds as I plan to.

Is it too young a dress for my age, though? I'm 42. Maybe cut off the train to make it more age-appropriate?

    I have no idea what a "young dress" is. If it fits you, flatters you and you like it....wear it. I think you look great! Btw there are plenty of "young" women who couldn't pull it off Smiley winking

    Thank you all for your support. Smiley smile I am making an appointment to go back next week with my 6-year-old daughter (and MOH) to try it on again and find something for her. She hasn't been to a bridal salon yet and I know she is going to have a blast!

    You look amazing! As long as you feel comfortable, go for it! If it's more revealing than you usually wear and don't think you'll feel comfortable/confident maybe consider shopping some more. I don't think the age is an issue at all! It looks great on you!
