I know it is popular but when I heard this song a couple months ago, I couldn't believe how well it spoke to him from my heart. A Thousand Years, it's a secret to him and on that day, the best man will give him ear buds just as I appear, so he can really hear the words spoken just for him, (it's outside) We were high school friends that could have been more but in our day, interracial couples were rare and being friends seemed the best we could do. But he never left my heart and 20 years later we reunited, became a family and are now making it legal in the eyes of the law, God already knew our hearts as I know he played a huge role in joining our hearts forever.
