i hate how i look in my engagement pictures.. i already have photographer booked for wedding.

So I got my pictures back and I feel so gross. There’s a couple I like but overall I hate how I look in them. I don’t know if it’s just I don’t like how I look or if they just really aren’t flattering pictures because of the photographer or were they not edited well. She didn’t help suggest any outfit choice. She did no research on spots to take pictures in the downtown area. We took them at 6pm not 8pm which is our current golden hour time. She kept suggesting the exact same awkward poses but I had just hoped the saying that pictures feel awkward but look great would be true. My fiancé looks great so that makes me think maybe it is just me.

Here are the main things I didn’t like:
- poses look awkward in the pictures.- bad angles of my arms, it makes them look larger and flabbier then I feel like they actually are- some angles are very low and causes it to show my double chin- lipstick wore off and she didn’t let me know to reapply even though I asked her to let me know if it comes off- I should have gotten my hair colored before (my fault, also had a bad balayage job done so it didn’t grow out well) and it looks harsh in the pics, no editing was done to soften it- took pics on bad side- sticky bra I wore was not photoshopped out and my shirt was getting smushed and frumpy in some pics
That’s a lot I know. I just don’t know if I’m being harsh on myself or if they really are just not great
