My bridal Shower is Sunday. I was curious so I checked my registries to see what people were buying/ which one was getting more attention (we're trying to steer people to the honeymoon reg.) and no one has purchased anything. zip. zero. nada. I found this curious but shrugged it off (thinking oh well, the gift wasn't what it was about anyway I want to celebrate with all my friends)

So this morning I get an evite "reminder" about the shower and it says "see guest list" on one of the tabs so I click it. There are only 2 people who have RSVP'd that aren't in my BP. I feel a little sick. My mother and SIL are driving 4 hours to be there, but now I feel like I'm wasting their time/ energy.

Just to clarify there were paper invitations (snail mail) sent out as well (evite was just where I saw the reminder)

I'm so sorry about the possible lack of attendance. Don't write them all off yet, though-- some people (myself included) rank evites as low priority and can forgetto respond till the reminder comes a couple days ahead saying, "Remember, you haven't responded...". I am sorry about that. As for the registries, I've heard that 80% of gifts get bought in the last 72 hours. Especially with Amazon Prime, I'm sure many people feel there's no rush.

i hope it all goes better than it looks right now!

I have 30 people invited to our halloween party. 7 have rsvped. 20+ will probably show. Also, if you have your mother and SIL there, that is great!

Hey Carrie, I feel your pain. My bridal shower is also this Sunday. We invited 30+ people and only 4 have RSVP'd. I agree with the others that alot of people do not RSVP and will just show up. We are guessing a turn out of around 20 people.
