I got fired Tuesday...

...& I'm so stressed out. The wedding is almost 6 months away & I still need so much money! The last time I lost my job, my FH & I struggled very badly until I was able to find another job, but we weren't engaged then, & so we didn't have to worry about that money. Not only that, but just a month...

...& I'm so stressed out. The wedding is almost 6 months away & I still need so much money! The last time I lost my job, my FH & I struggled very badly until I was able to find another job, but we weren't engaged then, & so we didn't have to worry about that money. Not only that, but just a month ago I got a loan for a car. I mean, we now have a roomate that pays us $300 a month, but that should only cover the bills...what about the wedding?!

    Check every where for jobs. I'm in the process of job hunting and I've been filling out applications and sending my resume to any place that I could work. Someone is bound to call you. Best of luck!

    @ Amanda.

    With unemployment agency - check, they pay for education often (giving out vouchers). If you get more education (computers, office management and other course) - you will have advantage!

    Also you must have a great cover letter and great resume. I've helped tons of people with resume, as I have been hiring people myself many times and going through thousands of resumes. Most resumes goes to garbage can right away - I mean 90%! Your resume is like a face for a model! So you may want to look into that and change it around. We can help you here. Smiley smile

    Aww Amanda, I'm so sorry. I have no words of wisdom except ones that sound lame "as one door closes, another one opens" etc. I'll be thinking about you and I hope you find another job soon Smiley sad

    I hope things get better, go to temp agencies as a new job may not allow you to take time off for your wedding.
