I live on Long Island, Ny

I have been engaged almost 2 years. I wanted to plan my wedding for Jan 2021 but 2020 was a rough year for me. (And for a lot of people) I am debating in Jan 2021 to either elope (plan a trip somewhere upstate and have a small vacation) OR have a very small guest list, just the important family members and get married. (When venue should i pick!?! I am thinking 50 guest)
At this point I am very close to hiring a wedding planner because no one helps me decided. I just want something that I could be happy with!
Need thoughts, personal opinions or personal experiences!!

At this point, you'd have to make decisions very quickly, because 4 months is not a long time to plan a wedding. (It CAN be done, you'll just have to move fast.)
A wedding planner will NOT make decisions for you, they will present you with options, but you must make the final choice.
Try going up to the Planning Tools tab, above. It has a lot of lists, search engines, and so on, that can help guide you.

I think planning an elopement or intimate wedding (10-15 people) could be a good plan given your short timeline! Maybe look around for elopement packages in that area that are all-inclusive, or follow your ceremony up with a nice restaurant reservation!

Elopement sounds fun and sweet ! then go away with your honey. any planning right now with lots of people just sounds stressful.
