I personally wouldn't mind it because we'd be helping someone in need but my husband doesn't feel comfortable with it because he'd want to be apart of the child's life.

Sure, just like the people who gave birth to me aren't my parents, I don't believe my husband would be a father just because he donated sperm. Biology doesn't equal family.

I don't have a problem with it. You're giving someone the gift of a chance at a family. I wanted to be a surrogate (Unfortunately I don't meet the requirements), and I'm signed up to be an egg donor. I had an easy time getting pregnant, others aren't so lucky. Most of the time the donor has absolutely no contact with anyone who might have been conceived using their sperm, and they don't know if that sperm was actually ever used. Most agencies don't release that kind of information without clearing it with all parties first.

I feel it would be inappropriate for my husband to donate his sperm to someone else. Not comfortable with it at all. Can't trust people now a days anyways. No thanks!
