I am getting married on March 28, 2020. I have gotten my wedding dress, picked out my venue, got my photographer and dj, and found accommodations for my guests. I also got my bridesmaid gifts and am trying to figure out what i should do for centerpieces and decorations (I'm looking for the rustic chic look). I start a new job in mid august so i want to get most of the planning and crafts done before i start so i'm not stressing out about too many things! What have you all done?

Oh man, yes I would be stressed too... but you got it so that's great! Also I love the rustic theme! My venue is in a winery with brick and barn doors and hard wood floors. It's to die for!! Smiley love

You are on a roll! I got my ceremony venue (because it's both of our family's church so there was never any doubt) and hopefully reception venue but waiting on my dad to make deposit

Were doing rustic as well. We are doing lanterns as center pieces. Luckily my bridesmaids are handy and crafty. But i was walking through Aldi`s, and i literally seen "summer" outdoors black lanterns for 4.99 each. (Such a good deal since i almost ordered them offline 8 for 129.99) our wedding colors are black and gold but we are going to spray the lanterns some glitter black and glitter gold. Since I bought all of them the manager gave them to me for 3 dollars a piece. I got all the center pieces for under 100.00 we are going to add babies breath to them, but they also come with a turn on and off candle inside! look around plus i hear Paca tan is going out of business! Good luck

OMG I get married 2 days after you. I have the venue, catering, DJ, photographer, dress and shoes completed. I really need a florist - that has been a headache.

You've been busy! I totally think it's worth getting things done ahead of time, especially since November and December have major holidays! I am now starting to look into centerpieces and coming up with different ideas to then show my venue when the time comes! Congratulations on your engagement!! Smiley smile

OMG yes, I honestly want everything planned and paid for by the end of the year. I would just like to have little details come 2020 to reduce my stress level lol. We are also buying a home this year around Oct or later so I feel I have to just get as much done as I can.

    Congrats to you as well!

We are a little over 7 months out and we have all our major vendors booked, my dress, bridesmaids dresses picked (two have theirs already), starting to buy some little items like the card box bridal party gifts etc. Next up on our list it to look at wedding bands, pick out my FH tux, and order invites/put them together.

You’re doing great!! Our date is 4/4/20. We have venue, officiant, dj, photographer and HMUA. I’m making our centerpieces and bouquets with lots of help! Still need a caterer and dress but I’ve been waiting on that to try and lose a little more weight, my daughter was born in February so I’m hoping to lose a little more before I look to avoid a huge alteration bill.

My wedding is Feb 15, 2020 and I have gotten the venue but everything else is still pending. I have mail out the wedding invitations but still need my dress and etc. Let me ask this question will you be doing the bridal garter? I am thinking about not doing it.

We've gotten a few things "done" Smiley xd I've picked out what kind of dress I want, we picked out our venue which is almost all inclusive so that takes care of a lot for us as well as far as other vendors. The only thing it didn't come with was photography/videography. We found a company right away that we'll be going with so that's good. We're still waiting to make deposits on ALL of those. Right now I'm looking into save the dates and we've got our invites already mocked up and ready to go (I know I'm a little early on that one).

Great progress! Our date is August 22,2020. I have two dresses, because I jumped the gun on the first and changed my mind about the silhouette. Planning to sell the 1st. Scored shoes at Kleinfeld’s shoe sale. It’s been a little tricky since I live in NYC and we’re getting married in Denver. But so far we have a photographer, florist, bakery, day of coordinator, officiant, hair dresser, makeup artist, venue( catering is done on site as our venue is a hotel). Wedding block is set up.Right now I’m focusing on finalizing the save the dates. Then worrying about a DJ. I’m not that focused on center pieces and how the tables will look at the moment. I’d rather wait to have a better gage of how many guests will show.

I don’t think I’ll wear a garter... I feel like it might be uncomfortable... I am also not having cake; we’re doing macaroons and cookies instead!
