How's the planning going?

I’m March 21 2020 so wake before yours. I have my dress, my girls dresses, venue, florist, officiant, and photographer. We are just in need of a few big things catering, music and cake. And lots of little things lol

02/22/20 Im just under 8 months but I am wanting to have everything pretty much done prior to July, August at the latest so I can enjoy birthdays and holidays without wedding planning coming up to much

That's how I feel too! I want to get everything pretty much done by mid August because I am starting a new job. What are your wedding colors?

Thank you! It actually is much cheaper then floral centerpieces (which is what I'm going for!) but still looks great!

They are pastels with rose gold and a splash of burgundy. I just feel like the end of the year has so much happening that to worry about planning a wedding would be so stressful and that is something I am trying to avoid.

I LOVE rose gold! My E ring is two-toned with rose gold and white gold! I also feel like weddings aren't fun when you're stressed so do everything in ones power to not be hah

Wow! Awesome job! I am glad to see that I am not the only one that likes to get stuff done quick! So far I have my venue, photographer, videographer, caterer, decorator, officiant, florist, invitations, my dress, my bridesmaids dresses, my bridesmaids gifts,my cake is booked, DJ, ceremony musicians, my favors are on the way, and now I am focusing on the guys. It has been exhausting but I am taking sometime to rest. Nice part is guys are easy!

View Quoted Comment Great! We've got our venue, photographer, officiant, photo booth, party bus, DJ, cakes, bridesmaid gifts, and just met with our caterer Monday. Engagement photos in the next 2 weeks. Save the Dates getting ordered ASAP and will be sent out mid-July.
I've got my dress on order, picked out bridesmaid dresses, and found the flowers I want on etsy.
Going to have to go to the rental store soon. And then working on our DIY stuff as soon as I get moved into our new house. (Centerpieces, cake toppers)

WOW I am so impressed! you have more completed than me and I thought I was SUPER prepared for a wedding that was 10 months away. I'm going BM dress shopping the end of June and we're having our tasting the end of July.

View Quoted Comment Haha. No worries! I've been engaged for about 3 months. And we were buying a house. So house buying stress distracted me from wedding stress, and wedding stress distracted me from house buying stress.
Plus I start a second temporary full-time job and pick up overtime at my regular full-time job in August. So I'm trying to knock as much out as soon as possible.

Wow you really plan ahead. I started planning this month for details on my wedding this August lol. Booked my venue and got my dress in February. All I have left is food, DJ, and flowers which are coming together so easily!!! Good luck with your planning. I have 70 days until I say I Do!!!

Wow I am so impressed with how much you have accomplished thus far!!! Girl, you are working it! Within the first three months or so I got my dress, booked venue, dj/photobooth and started bridesmaids gifts. I took a big break after getting those things done because I just felt like it was wedding overload and wanted to focus on myself. So do not forget to take breaks for your own sanity too

It's ramping up...wedding is in 20 weeks, just locked down the venue 2 days ago. I have to get my dress this coming week, luckily I had lots of stuff pre-planned so i'm pouring over the notebooks and getting going

Did you get stressed out finding a venue 20 weeks out or was it an easy venue to find and lock down? What does your dress look like? What is your theme? sorry for a lot of questions; I just have wedding on the brain so i love talking to people who are in the same boat as me haha

I was stressed because we were supposed to have it locked down back in March, but it took his brother until to days ago to get it done. You have to live in the city where it's located to rent it, we don't he does. that got to me. No dress yet, going to David's bridal once I hear from the two people going with me. It's in fall, so a rustic fall theme
