How’s planning going!!!

My wedding is still over a year away so we're slowly moving into the planning. We booked our ceremony and reception venues. We've been planning other things, but haven't booked anything else. We designed our ceremony space which is gorgeous. It's based off a fashion show image I saw and I had my wedding planner's team design a sketch for it that we've been tweaking. We also have been working on the guest list. It's honestly going to be a nightmare when I have to get it to a final number. The venue we found only has space for 150 and our guest list is sitting at 220. -_- It's a destination wedding so we went to a lot of different vendors for the food and a welcome party, so we have to narrow that down. I've been wedding dress shopping, but don't want to make a decision until the new bridal season comes out. Our wedding planner is designing our wedding website. Right now our main focus is researching photographers and save the dates.

We are getting married in Oct and so far things have been smooth sailing for now. A destination wedding - love that. We were going to do that and decided not too. Planning has gone really smoothly (hate to jinx it) so far. We are at 16 months out now, and I have most everything booked. Our guest list is ever changing, and I think that is going to be the hardest part as we have SOOO many people who anticipate being invited that won't be. ~shrug~ Funny how they think "liking" something on a Facebook page constitutes a close friendship that is invitation worthy. Social media is amazing and fun, but sure puts unrealistic expectations in place. (sorry, minor venting) ANYWAY, I still have to meet up with the florist that I have been in email contact with, and FH and I still have to agree on wedding bands, but the big stuff is booked and I even have the save the dates and invites all designed and saved on the website so I can just click and order when it's time.

We have almost everything booked, except for cake and ceremony/cocktail hour music. We have a cake consultation booked, but the soonest they would do is April for a fall wedding. And then we have reached out to a few different musicians and waiting to hear back. We sent save the dates and now I'm busy buying the detail items, ring box, card box, guest book, etc.
