This is my wedding dress. I have yet to take it to be altered but I'm starting to shop around for accessories and I've got no idea what I'm doing. As far as jewlery goes I'm keeping it blingy with some rose gold pieces like the consultant advised the day I found my dress. This dress is ivory with dark champagne layers poking through from the bottom. My veil that we got the same day is also ivory. I'm kind of thinking of doing rose gold hair pins and a comb with ivory flowers and some bling. I plan to have my hair in a low bun with a braided base. I'm not so sure how important the color of my shoes are but ideally I'd like to do ivory as well. I'm also thinking of getting a leather jacket in an ivory or creme color but I worry an ivory jacket could make the dress look dirty. I decided on a leather jacket because my wedding is in October and later in the day and it's both indoor and outdoor for the reception. I figured a leather jacket would be nice to keep me warm outside and would make a really nice momento for after the wedding. Should I try ivory or cream for the color or should I just go for black?

What about the denim jacket look? Or what are your wedding colors? I’m thinking of getting a denim jacket and dying it the dark green color of my bridesmaids dresses… just a thought 😁

I love the rose gold jewelry with this gown color! That's going to be stunning. For shoes I would either try to match the ivory as best you can or even go with a fun color in your wedding palette! My shoes for my details shots (then I'm changing to sandals for the ceremony because it's on the sand) are dusty blue to match my bridesmaids!

As for the jacket, I think either a cream that's intentionally lighter than your dress or the black would both be amazing options and that it just depends on the rest of your wedding's vibe!

I'm in love with the look you're putting together and can't wait to see it when it's all done!

That's a cool idea. I did consider the denim jacket look but I didn't consider dying it. My wedding colors are burgundy, navy, dusty rose, and gold. I think if I did do one of wedding colors I'd probably do the dusty rose. I hope to see your jacket once you dye it. It's sounds super cool.
